F.A.Q’s

1. What do we bring?

Food and beverage (beer is okay-no hard liquor and no glass bottles), sunscreen, camera, visor/hat and sunglasses... I suggest polarized sunglasses to see more action. NO BANANAS.

2. We have children. How can I be sure they will be safe and comfortable?

The Forecast is U.S. Coast Guard licensed and insured with all the latest safety equipment available. I usually fish less than 1 mile from land at any given time in near flat, calm sea conditions. Sea sickness is extremely rare.

3. Do you provide fly fishing instruction?

Absolutely, the basics can be taught on the boat to most novices in a very short time. Please inquire about special 1- hour lessons to learn more advanced techniques.

4. What do we do with the fish we catch?

I encourage all anglers to practice catch, tag and release. However, I enjoy fresh fish just as much as anyone. I will gladly clean and bag your catch. I can even offer cooking tips or recommend a local restaurant that may prepare your catch. However, we take only what the party can consume fresh…if you want to fill your freezers, go to Captain’s Seafood or Barnacle Bills.
